The Playa Del Duque beach is one of the most up market and luxury areas in Tenerife. With golden sands imported from the Sahara desert and extremely comfy cushioned sun beds. It&rsquo;s where the sea twinkles under the sunshine; whilst you watch the jet skies skim the clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Amenities in the area are second to none. There are superb restaurants and caf&eacute;s which you can stroll to from the beach. There is also an up market commercial centre called Plaza Del Duque which is just a 5 minutes&rsquo; walk away which has a host of designer shops selling top brand names such as Armani and Betty Barclay to name just two. There are also several top Jewellery shops selling Cartier, Rolex and Pandora. Most of the hotels in the area are 5* and even 5*deluxe. These include the Sheraton, Bahia del Duque, Grand Tacande and the Anthelia which all have superb restaurants you can use. The Grand Tacande has a luxury spa and beauty centre where you can have top beauty treatments. It is open to the public and reasonably priced. They are situated on a long pedestrian promenade which is superbly clean and so well kept that you could be in the famous American resort of &ldquo;The Magic Kingdom&rdquo; in Disneyland.

It really has become the playground for the rich and famous to stay over the last 15 years. Some even buying properties of their own in the area.
