On The 6th September 2017 Morfitt Properties Tenerife secured the purchase of a property for short term holiday rental in Parque Santiago 1, Playa de Las Americas.

A one bedroom duplex penthouse apartment with sea views just 9 doors from the beach. 

“The holiday market being so buoyant and the tourist figure being so high, we just felt it was the right time to buy a property ourselves to rent out” added Lee Morfitt.  The property came on sale and having viewed it with a client who made an offer; we thought we had secured a sale for Morfitt Properties! The client then changed his mind and seeing the attractive price which had been accepted, we decided to buy it for ourselves. A case of being in the right place at the right time! We often say to our clients “ I would buy this or i would buy that” and often people think this is just a boisterous sales tactic but often it is just our confident knowledge of the Tenerife Property market and this time we did!
The property had decent bookings already taken and busy for the next 5 months but needed a little tender loving care which we have already undertaken. A new kitchen and bathroom will be done this year (2017) and new windows in spring of 2018. This has to be carefully orchestrated in the few available weeks which have not been reserved for holiday makers already. When the property is finished to a luxury standard, we will be able to achieve the maximum rental return and of hopefully, repeat bookings from satisfied clients.
